From April to October, Humboldt Waterkeeper offers tours of Humboldt Bay and nearby coastal areas with a wide range of partner organizations, including Centro del Pueblo; English Express, the non-profit English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) school; Community Access Program for Eureka; the Indian Natural Resources, Science and Engineering (INRESP+) at Cal Poly Humboldt; The Studio/Canvas + Clay, an art program for adults with varying abilities; Humboldt Asian & Pacific Islanders; the County Library summer reading program, and the Humboldt County Transition-Aged Youth Collaboration.This year’s tours were funded by the California Coastal Commission's WHALE TAIL® Grants Program, the State Coastal Conservancy’s Explore the Coast grant program, and Humboldt Area Foundation.
