Join Humboldt Baykeeper for the 28th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, Sat. Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon. Get ready to hit our local beaches and waterways and pick up some trash!

Last year 800 people turned out to remove more than 8,000 lbs. of trash and recyclables from Humboldt County beaches and waterways.

As always, Coastal Cleanup Day is being coordinated by the Northcoast Environmental Center, which is organizing volunteers to clean up more than 50 sites in Humboldt County.
