Thanks to many individual supporters and the $10,000 challenge grant from Coast Seafoods, Humboldt Baykeeper surpassed our year-end fundraising goal with a total of $30,000 of donations to support our water quality program in the coming year. Special thanks to Coast Seafoods for doubling our impact! As the largest oyster grower in Humboldt Bay, Coast Seafoods knows the importance of clean water - not just for oysters, but for the health of our entire community.  

2014 marked ten years of Humboldt Baykeeper's work to advocate for clean water, watchdog development, raise awareness of sea level rise, and get people out on the water and coastal trails to appreciate Humboldt Bay. Thanks to your support, we will be able to continue this work in 2015, as well as apply a laser-focus to identifying and stopping the E. coli pollution to our streams, the Bay, local beaches, and waterways.

Humboldt Baykeeper's top priority for 2015 is to identify the sources of E. coli polluting local waterways. Our Water Quality Program will take this critical step toward restoring clean water to our streams, the Bay, and local beaches, while continuing to advocate for clean water, watchdog development, raise awareness of sea level rise, and get people out on the water and coastal trails to appreciate Humboldt Bay.

Humboldt Baykeeper's top priority for 2015 is to identify the sources of E. coli polluting local waterways. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for our Water Quality Program to take this critical step toward restoring clean water to our streams, the Bay, and local beaches.

Your support will also enable us to continue to protect Humboldt Bay by advocating for clean water, watchdogging development, and raising awareness of sea level rise through our King Tides Photo Initiative. And you will support our Bay Explorations Program, which gets people out on the water and coastal trails to appreciate Humboldt Bay.
