Caltrans proposed to discharge effluent from its industrial truck washing station into groundwater that is hydrologically connected to Humboldt Bay at the Bracut Maintenance Yard. We strongly support the Regional Water Quality Control Board's prohibition on washing paint trucks and streetsweepeers at this washing station.
