Humboldt Baykeeper filed an appeal of the County Planning Commission's approval of CUP 13-021 and the associated Mitigated Negative Declaration for Royal Gold, LLC’s existing operations and expansion in Glendale.

As of Sept. 2018, the County is still waiting for information on wetlands, frog surveys, and other information to be supplied by the aapplicant. Royal Gold built the proposed building that was the subject of the permit and continues to operate without County permits.
